The Full Story

About

Nu Omega Nu Christian Sorority, Incorporated ® (NON), a Christian organization, was founded on August 7, 2022. It was established by Founder Diana Atterbury in her Atlanta Georgia home. Our Founder's vision was not only to build the kingdom of God with a body of believers, but she wanted to create a safe place for women to feel a sense of belonging, love, and be a part of an organization where they can pray together, worship together, and serve together. God graced our Founder with a heart of service. She believed in giving back and blessing others as God has blessed her beyond what she could have imagined. The purpose of this organization is not only to grow within the greater Atlanta, but to reach a national level to reach women from coast to coast.

Shortly after the Founder had given birth to her vision, she appointed three devoted women to execute the vision. These three women, along with the Founder, made strides through countless hours of planning, praying, and dedicating their time and resources to make sure this organization would be everything a woman would need in a sisterhood. God's grace is truly upon Nu Omega Nu Christian Sorority, Inc.

Purpose

Nu Omega Nu Sorority, Inc., is a Christian belief- based, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to meet spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women worldwide. We are committed to encouraging women to become positive, productive, and purpose-filled, to carry out the work God created us to do. Nu Omega Nu Sorority, Inc. provides women with a great social circle as well as academic, leadership, and career opportunities.

Mission

The Mission of Nu Omega Nu Sorority, Inc., is to empower women to discover the power of the Holy Spirit through faith, to serve God and their community, to promote confidence through prayer, bible study, sisterhood, and community service.

Vision

Nu Omega Nu Sorority Inc., we strive to build a sisterhood that is built on God’s word and God’s love. We will be supportive of one another's spiritual growth, teaching and walking in our designed purpose.

Goals

The goals of Nu Omega Nu Sorority, Inc., are:

1. To meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women worldwide by an increase in confidence through prayer, bible study, sisterhood, and community service.

2. To uplift, encourage, and equip women to become positive, productive, and purpose-filled to carry out the work God created us to do.

3. To offer salvation as a vibrant experience of the presence of God through love and the Word of God.

4. To empower women to discover the power of the Holy Spirit through faith to serve God, others, and their community.
